If you are new to the Global Media Kit Platform, we can understand why you may have a few questions on how to use our platform. Using the Global Media Kit for planning and getting campaign estimates is pretty simple, actually!

The interface alone should be able to guide you most of the time. But we'd still like to put down a few things clear to help you get started. If you have any query that is unanswered in these resources, feel free to contact us and we are always happy to help you.

Creating an Account

Creating an Account

Enjoy the real benefits of Global Media Kit by signing up and creating your own account. This will help us understand your preferences better and provide you with custom ad recommendations. You will also get a custom dashboard to create instant media plans, connect with media service providers, avail premium assistance, and access Smart Campaign Manager.

To create an account, follow the below steps:

  • Choose to Sign Up as an Advertiser from the Global Media Kit homepage.
  • Enter your email and a password
  • You will receive an email containing an OTP that must be entered on the sign-up page to verify your account
  • After verification, you need to enter relevant company details and campaign interests to complete account creation.
  • Your account will be created instantly on Global Media Kit.

The next time you visit, you can use the email and password you have signed up with to log in as an Advertiser at Global Media Kit.

Navigating the Homepage

The homepage allows you access the multi-use search bar to sort all the available media and ad options by country, events, media type, language, location, audience category and more.

Using homepage search filters to find your next ad opportunity

Jump right into media planning from the homepage using the intuitive search filters. To find your next ad opportunity, follow below instructions:

  • Select the country, region or event you want to target from the Country/Region drop-down list or simply type in the keywords of your target country, region or event.
  • Select the media category from the list of Television, Radio, Magazine, Online, Out of Home, Newspaper or simply type in the keywords of the media category that you wish to advertise in. You may also search for Media Services.
  • Now the resulting page shows the media options available for your search.
  • Next, as you select the language and location; In case of OOH, the OOH type and Location; the resulting page shows the ad opportunities you can explore.
  • At last, you can fine tune your search with the audience category you're targeting.
  • Finally, you have the results you're looking for. Simply select the ad opportunities and proceed with your campaign planning.

Ad Credits

Ad Credits are first-of-its-kind value points, designed exclusively for you to help access top-of-the-line features, access advertising rates and do much more. You will need Ad Credits to create your media plans, unlock Advanced Audience Matching, access - Media Kits, Ad Support and Premium Expert Support, and to proceed with the campaign planning.

You can get a real-time overview of the Ad Credits balance on the top navigation menu. Simply click on More Credits to know more about Ad Credits and its advantages. You may request for more Ad Credits by clicking Get Ad Credits. In the following page, enter the number of Ad Credits you require and Place your Order.

Using Advantages

Global Media Kit provides you with a broad range of advantages so that you can make the most out of our platform. Let's learn to leverage each of them and make your media planning and buying process faster and efficient.

You can get a real-time overview of the Ad Credits balance on the top navigation menu. Simply click on More Credits to know more about Ad Credits and its advantages. You may request for more Ad Credits by clicking Get Ad Credits. In the following page, enter the number of Ad Credits you require and Place your Order.

Language and City Filters

Language and City Filters

The Language filter helps you target an audience that speaks a certain language. On the other hand, the City/Location filter helps you fine-tune your campaign by searching for ad opportunities having coverage in the location of your choice. The Language and City/Location filters can be applied together for better results.

Note: The ad options listed after applying all the filters can be further sorted by Recommended, Premium, Popular, Campaign Ideas and more for added convenience.

Out of Home Campaign Planning

In the case of Out of home, the Language filter is inapplicable and is substituted by Out-of-home type. While the City/Location filter helps you fine-tune your campaign by searching for ad opportunities having coverage in the location of your choice, the OOH type filter can be used to target specific OOH location types, including airports, metro stations, shopping malls and more.

The City/Location and OOH type filters can be applied together for superior results.

Advanced Audience Matching

Go beyond the basic search filters like country and media category and pin-point your target audience by using the Advanced Audience Matching. Audience categories ranging from Business and Management to Travel and Tourism, you can further drill down your search for the best ad opportunity. You can easily unlock the Advanced Audience Matching by spending an Ad Credit.

The City/Location and OOH type filters can be applied together for superior results.

Live Chats

Live Chats

You can directly collaborate with media service providers using Live Chats. To share live chats with the admin/media service provider, follow the below instructions:

  • Click on the view schedule button corresponding to a media plan
  • Type in your message
  • Hit Submit Notes

Now you are in live conversation with the media service provider and the Global Media Kit team. Easily request the details you need for campaign planning and launch impact ad campaigns at scale.

Currency Converter

The currency convertor helps you conveniently get real-time rates in your local currency, based on live currency exchange rates.

To quickly view the Total Estimate of your select opportunities in your preferred currency, follow the below instructions:

  • Select the desired ad opportunities as per your requirements.
  • View the details of the ad opportunities using Ad Credit and add them to media cart by selecting the tentative start date.
  • Under Currency Converter, on the top right hand side, select the currency you require from the drop-down list.
  • You can now view the Total Estimate of the ad opportunities in your selected currency.

The Holiday Mapping feature gets you the list of special occasions, and days of national and international importance related to your target market, enabling you create an effective media plan by planning promotions and offers around this period and tailor better ad creatives.

Ad Buzz

Ad Buzz brings you industry insights, articles, events, campaign success stories, research data, infographics and promotional videos posted by media owners and the Global Media Kit Media Intelligence team. You can get to know what's buzzing in the advertising world and access the best offers on ad opportunities, posted by the media owners.

Street Smart - Nearby

Street Smart - Nearby

The Street Smart - Nearby advantage offered for Out-of-home gives you a helpful pictorial list of all unique advantages nearby the out-of-home site. This includes culturally or commercially important areas and buildings such as shopping centres, malls, buildings, busy junction and more, so that you can plan and create a hyper localized campaign

Smart Campaign Dashboard

The Smart Campaign Dashboard is like the master control panel where you can manage all your campaign plans at different stages, review meeting requests and do much more.

  • To access Smart Campaign Dashboard, click on Dashboard on the top right in the navigation menu.
  • The Dashboard allows you to manage meeting requests and access Campaigns module.
  • Click on the Campaigns module to track your campaigns at different stages.

Stages of your Campaign Planning

To view media plans in any stage, use the sorting option in the drop-down or select the respective tab from the Smart Campaign Dashboard. You can also search for media plan in any stage by entering the plan name.

To view the tentative schedules, click on View Schedule corresponding to the ad opportunity in the plan. You can also view the created Media Plan by clicking on View Media Plan.

  • Draft - The media plans under the Draft stage are the plans you have created but not yet send to media service providers for review.
  • Sent for Approval- The plans here have been sent to the media service provider for review and approval.
  • Approved - These are the media plans approved by the media service provider. You may review the plans and share the booking confirmation with us to proceed with payments.
  • Booked - The plans under the Booked stage are the ones for which the payments have already been made and the booking is confirmed.

Helpful Insights

Helpful Insights

Helpful Insights is essential media intelligence presented to you in each media profile. It contains useful information like Steps to Execute a media plan (How to Proceed), Web Stats (for Online media), the Media Kit and FAQs pertaining to the media vertical selected.

To access Helpful Insights for a media option, follow the below instructions:

  • Select the media option you desire using the relevant search filters.
  • Inside the media detail page, click on the option you wish to view under Helpful Insights.

Steps in your ad campaign

With Global Media Kit, advertisers can easily create a custom plan within minutes. As you proceed to getting approvals, you will be directed to the Smart Campaign Dashboard, where you can easily manage your campaign plans.

The following steps are involved in creating a media plan:

Adding the selected ad options to create media plan

  • After you have selected an ad option, you can make use of an Ad Credit to view the rates and unlock other great advantages.
  • Next, click on the ADD TO MEDIA CART button below the ad unit or sponsorship/package.
  • Select a tentative campaign start date for the media option from the Smart Calendar pop-up and click CONFIRM.
  • The ad opportunity will be added to your Media Cart.
  • You can click on the ADD MORE MEDIA if you wish to add multiple ad opportunities to your media cart.

Note: In case you are adding multiple ad opportunities to your media cart, you will have to select tentative campaign start dates for each of the ad opportunities.

Creating a media plan

  • After adding all the required media options to your Media Cart, click the PROCEED button to move ahead.
  • On the resulting page, you can either add the selected ad opportunities to a new plan or an existing plan.
  • To create a new Media plan, select Create New Plan, enter your plan name and click PROCEED.
  • You can add the selected media options to an existing plan in the draft stage by selecting Add to existing plan.
  • In this page you can make use of Ad Credits to avail Premium Expert Assistance where you can opt to get quick confirmations, additional offers/value adds and extra Research and Insights.

Proceeding with the Plan

  • After creating a media plan, you will get an auto-generated Media Plan.
  • You can either edit the media plan at this stage to make changes in the number of insertions/duration OR save the plan as draft OR send it for approval.
  • The media plans Saved as Draft can be later on accessed under the Draft stage in your Dashboard.
  • The plans Send for Approval will be reviewed by the media service provider. Thereafter, on receiving their approval you can review and confirm bookings with us to proceed further.

Note: You may also share the media plan in case you require approval from another person.

Once you have shared the booking confirmations, our team will get in touch with you to process payments and confirm the bookings. After this, you can share the creatives for approval and we will activate the campaign as per the schedule. Upload Image As soon as the campaign ends, you will receive a proof-of- execution on your campaign dashboard, confirming that your campaign was live at the specified date and time
